The GRIT Running Challenge has two levels: Scaled and Rx
Scaled: Run 1 Mile Per DAY–that’s it folks. If you need a plan to build up we will help you make one. By the end of the 2 month challenge you will be running at least 1 Mile a day!
Rx: Run 3 Miles Per DAY–this is for the athletes who have a base of running and log in at least 2-4 miles daily. If you don’t normally run we suggest you start with the Scaled Division.
This idea of running one mile came from my friend Donna Pertel, our awesome dietician. She did this challenge for an entire year! Saw great results with running just one mile a day. We tried it last year and the members who participated and stuck with the challenge had great results. As with everything…start with a chipping away at the smaller distance and build your way up.
